05 Buellton Brew Fest

The ninth annual Buellton Brew Fest is happening on Saturday, September 5th at River View Park. A traditionally sell out every year, the Buellton Brew Fest will have over 55 craft breweries, wineries, kombucha, and spirit companies on site with Live entertainment.

06 Stand Up Paddle Boarding

at Santa Barbara Sailing Center

Stand-up paddle board (SUP) rentals is also being offered at the Santa Barbara Sailing Center. They built a special launch pad just for stand-up paddle boarders. You can launch directly from their dock to explore the Santa Barbara Harbor, Stearns Wharf, East Beach and beyond.

Our professional staff are trained to help students of all ages and skill levels learn to catch waves, better understand the ocean and move on to more advanced surfing techniques. Let us know what you are looking for and we’ll design a surf lesson and choose a location suited to your needs.

10 Virtual Wine Tasting with Sanguis

 at 8 Ashley Avenue Santa Barbara

Whether all of you are in one place or two or three “twosies” in multiple locations doesn’t matter. They'll be sending out a set of five 4 oz. sample bottles to each group of two tasters (2 oz. tastes, for each of you), set up a zoom or google hangouts online meeting and more.

For the past 15 years, Dr. Lowe and his students have been studying baby and juvenile white sharks off the coast of southern California and have greatly contributed to the field of knowledge for this enigmatic species. Join this event to understand more of how using a wide array of technology, they have found that white sharks use southern California beaches seasonally as nursery habitat for their young.
