The Powerhouse Argentina-based company Che Malambo is back with a foot-stomping, boleadora-twirling, bombos-beating vengeance after delivering the surprise hit of A&L’s 2016-2017 season with their Santa Barbara debut. Watch out for a fiery fast-paced malambo to the contemporary stage.

The most awaited performance of Opera Santa Barbara returns to present crowd-pleasing pop-up performances in the Museum galleries.
1 pm at Rancho Sisquoc Winery
The Festival Grand Tasting is the highlight of the weekend. This will be done at the beautiful Rancho Sisquoc Winery in the Santa Maria Valley. Enjoy new released wines from over 70 participating member wineries, tastings from more than 30 food purveyors.

Quench your thirst with a cold beer on a warm spring day. Relish in over fifty craft breweries, wineries and distilleries, exciting lawn games, live music, and plentiful food trucks. Don't forget to bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket while you enjoy the view of a beautiful sunshine.

This is in celebration of their 1 YEAR anniversary of the Brass Bear Comedy Show produced by Uriah Wesman Comedy. This course is for students of all skill levels. You will be able to develop and refine both sculptural and functional techniques of ceramics through hand building, throwing, surface decoration, and glazing techniques. Crafts are inspired by works of art in the Museum’s permanent collection and current exhibition

The classic Romeo & Juliet will conclude the sensational 2018-2019 season of the Santa Barbara Symphony, conducted by Maestro Nir Kabaretti. This classic tragedy by William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, has inspired masterful scores by the likes of Berlioz, Prokofiev, and even Leonard Bernstein.

Looking for something unique to surprise the best mom of your life? Come and spend a few hours or a whole day aboard a yacht. A US Coast Guard Certified Captain will be provided by The Santa Barbara Sailing Center. Experience the fun and magic of sailing along the Santa Barbara pristine coastline.

Women in Science is a creative body of work by Nicole Berry, which uses the practice of portrait photography to expose how social prejudices influence the way we perceive who and what is a scientist in our world. Explore portraits of female scientists in this exhibition and hear the stories and life moments that inspired some of these scientists to pursue their career paths.
10 am at Santa Barbara
A bike ride that is great for all skill levels. Start off high in the mountains and head downhill. Stops included feature some of the area’s most loved locations like the Santa Barbara Mission. The amazing guides will lead you on a tour of beautiful Santa Barbara.
6.30 pm at Santa Barbara Sailing Center
Grab a sip of local wine or beer from Sanford Winery while enjoying a Santa Barbara Sunset aboard the Double Dolphin. There will be a representative from the winery or brewery who will be on board to pour the tastings and provide education on their selection.
8pm at UCSB Performing Arts Theater
Watch out for bare bones developmental productions of half-hour scripted and devised plays. The program allows you to experience a simple 'fringe festival' level of technical and design support, so that each work may evolve in content and structure through the final performance.
10 am at Santa Ynez Airport
This is a free admission event that will let you see dozens of small aircrafts on display with pilots who can explain general aviation and their experiences flying. There will be free airplane rides for youngsters 8-17 years old. Pre-register for flights at https://youngeaglesday.org/?278.

Take in the view of over 300 vintage and modern cars. Lots of food vendors will be available and live music will accompany the vehicles on display. Make sure to wear comfy shoes as the cars will span over ten blocks of State Street. Get to know more about vehicle restoration from their makers.
10 am at 34 E Haley St
Some of the most loved cupcakes including Pomegranate Mango Chardonnay and Chocolate Blackberry Syrah will be served. Your group will be picked up by an air-conditioned shuttle early in the morning. They will give you the itinerary of the day and head up to Santa Ynez Valley. Once there, you will get to enjoy wine tasting at some of the areas best wineries.

This event is open to all! Join the community for a nutritional café with intergenerational participation. There will be a chef-prepared lunch and special programs and lots of fun!

Palettes of color and culture will come together for three days this May at Old Mission Santa Barbara. Watch out for the street painters as they transform Mission Plaza using pastels on pavement to create over 150 vibrant and colorful large-scale images.

Experience a unique sailing time aboard the Double Dolphin, Santa Barbara’s most popular sailboat. The 50ft cruising catamaran sets sail every Friday evening starting Memorial Day and ending Labor Day for their “Music on the Water” Sunset Cruise. The cruise features a variety of music fun for friends and family of all ages. Relax and enjoy the Santa Barbara sunset on an adventure you are sure to remember.
